Data Import and Data Export

The Rotronic Monitoring System allows for data to be imported or integrated and data to be exported or extracted.

Data import overview:

Import data via the standard RMS devices (Hardware Overview).

Import data via the RMS-CONVERTER-100 ( MODBUS TCP Devices and other specific digital protocols).

Integrate Data Into RMS via a Rest API (this solution requires a software to send the data to RMS, Rotronic AG offer the RMS JSON API software).

Import data via analogue inputs using the RMS-ADC-L-R and RMS-MADC-868/915-A/V devices (0…1/5/10V and 0/4…20mA).

Import data via digital inputs using the RMS-DI-L-R or RMS-MDI-868/915 devices.

Import datasheets, user manuals, SOP's into the Documents menu (Tools>Documents Explained).

Data export overview:

Export data in .csv (Excel) format.

Export data in PDF A format:

oMeasurement data report: Export data via the data analysis function using the report templates ( Tools>Setup>Report Templates Explained).

oAudit trail data report: Export Events from the audit trail.

oDeviation report.

oBatch Release/Certification report.

oCalibration report.

oValidation report (automated testing), see Tools>Validation Explained for more details.

oCharacterization (mapping) report: Create a Characterization Report.

Extract Data From RMS via a Rest API.

Export data via OPC UA using the RMS-WEB-OPC solution.

Export data via MS SQL (data can be directly exported to Areva Pi, previously OSISoft Pi).
