The RMS-WEB-OPC Server software is a software tool that enables the collection of real-time and historical data from the Rotronic Monitoring System (RMS) by third party applications running an OPC UA client system.
The RMS-WEB-OPC software is developed in Microsoft .NET platform. The application is developed in C# (C Sharp) language that runs on the .NET Framework v5. The graphical user interface is an application interface. The configuration database and diagnostic database are integrated in a MongoDB. The configuration is secured via Windows authorization, as of such administrative rights are required to change settings.
The software is intended to run on a server and requires connectivity to both the RMS MS SQL database and the OPC UA client system.
The RMS software is an FDA 21 CFR Part 11/EU Annex 11 conform software solution for environmental monitoring.
The RMS-WEB-OPC software is not FDA 21 CFR Part 11/EU Annex 11 conform. Unlike the RMS software, the RMS-WEB-OPC software is not developed based upon the GAMP5 recommendations and as of such is not validated by Rotronic AG.
