When the HygroLab is used for the first time, the user is asked in which mode he would like to use the device. The following modes are available to the user:

•Standard mode: The HygroLab will be only accessible with a valid user name and password. A user administrator is available.

•FDA mode: The HygroLab will be only accessible with a valid user name and password. In addition the mode offers further event logs (previous setting / new settings), e-signatures etc. More here: FDA Mode

•Standalone mode: The HygroLab works as normal device without any login (no user name and password needed).

In case the mode needs to be changed there is an register in the Local settings, which is called Device mode. In there there is a possibility to change the device modes.

To change settings in the HygroLab such as Time (also automatic set Time from the internet), Date (also the format), Language (English / German), Keyboards (EN / DE / SP), Temperature units (Celsius / Fahrenheit), 12h / 24 format and setting of the atmospheric pressure.

Setting E-mail for the HygroLab

The HygroLab is capable of sharing the reports / documents via E-mail. For that the HygroLab needs a SMTP server.

Please ask your IT Department for the right information.

In the Network settings the domain name can be changed and information such as MAC or IP addresses can also be found there.

Checking out for a new software version

The next step after setting the administrator is to check out for a new firmware version. For the HygroLab to work efficiently, it is very important to  always have the newest firmware version.

Go to "Main menu" > "Settings" > "Device settings" > "Device settings" > select "Update FW" to check if a new firmware version is available.
