A calibration compares measured values of a measurement instrument to a reference instrument. Outcome is a measured value, a reference value and the difference (measured value - reference value).
A calibration is a measurement only, it doesn't compensate or improve the measurement instrument.
For a calibration, the device to be calibrated must be added and activated on the device tree.
The Hygrosoft supports also multi calibration, the calibration of more than one measurement instrument against the reference at the same time.
•Calibration Parameter - Please choose the measurement unit to be calibrated.
•Tolerance Lo/Hi and Absolute/Percent - PASS/FAIL criteria for the calibration.
•Input Calibration/Output Calibration - Calibration before adjustment/after adjustment. This feature helps the user the differentiate the calibrations and in the maintenance process of the measurement instruments.
•Comment - The use can type a individual statement here.
•Reference - The reference source to be chosen. Manual Input - it is for the use of a reference that cannot be read-out by the Hygrosoft. The user need to read the measurement value and type it manually. Optional a further device of the device tree (added and activated) can be used as a reference.
•Reference Info - Information about the kind of reference input.
•Reference value - typed manually or read out measurement value from the reference.
As far as a reference value is available (manually or by another device of the device tree), the device can be calibrated by clicking Calibrate.
Dependent if the measured value is out or in tolerance, the result is marked red or green.
After clicking Calibrate, the calibration point is listed on the Calibration history and stored in the app-internal database.
Note:
•These calibration data are stored in the App-internal database. As far as the device is deleted from the device tree, the calibration data will be deleted as well and are not available anymore.
After setting the checkbox of one ore more calibration in the calibration history, the button Report, Load and Delete are active.
•Report button - a calibration report can be created
•Load button - further e. g. older calibration of a device could be loaded to compare or to add to the report.
•Delete button - calibration data can be deleted from the calibration history. In this case, the calibration data will be deleted from the database and will not be available anymore.
