    Question:
    The telephone calls and SMS's are not working.

    Possible Root Cause:
    1. Wrong account SID, authentication token, SMS number, telephone number and callback server.
    2. IT requirements
    3. External access to the server is not allowed.
    Solution:
    1. Test on the cloud using https://rms.rotronic.com/RMS/CallController.ashx
    2. Carry out all steps from the IT requirements document.
    3. If the server is not available to the alarm provider, then telephone and SMS alarms are not possible.

    Additional Information:
    The RMS telephone and SMS alarm is done by a 3rd party supplier. External access to the server is required. If external access is not permitted, the telephone and SMS alarming is not possible.
    Rotronic offer the RMS-WEB-XDAMFIP for SMS and telephone alarms. This is a monthly fee for highly secure networks where the IP address of the alarm provider is static. The user only has one IP address that can be permitted to access the server.
