The Order Code Generator can be used also for the operation of the NFC Station for searching specific configurated transmitters with their specific order code. There are 2 different procedures, which can be done with the joint operation of the Order Code Generator and the NFC Station.
Procedure for existing configuration
If a costumer wants a different configuration as the standard configurations on the price list and a configuration which already exists in the Code Finder.
To find out if the order code exist go to the Code Finder and start to configurate by selecting first the Family of the device and the other values, described in the Reconfiguration of a Transmitter.
If all the ranges and parameters exist the Code Finder will show on top the order code, which then can be entered into the NFC Station to reconfigure the standard transmitter.
NOTE: Not all different combinations of a Transmitter have an EAN code. An EAN code is only displayed if the device has been registered into the Rotronic ERP system. There is no problem by using a order code without an EAN code, it will only mean that the label for the packaging will not show an EAN code. |
In case the costumer wants for example a temperature range of -50…100°C and the Code Finder doesn’t offer this option, this means this a non-existing configuration.
Procedure for non-existing configuration
If a configuration like a temperature range of -50…100°C does not exist, wright an Email to pm@rotronic.ch. Please provide us the full configuration and the device information with the new configuration. The Rotronic Product Management Team will create a new option in the configuration in the Order Code Generator (within 48 hours). The PM will notify you as soon as the new option is available. Please follow then the procedure in chapter Procedure for existing configuration.
