Intro |
Understand a Data gap Event: ![]() •ID: Event ID (EVT-xxxx). •Start: Time and date when the Data gap Event occurred. •End: Time and date when the Data gap Event was closed. •Status: Status of the Data gap Event (open or closed). •Source: Who created the Data gap Event (system if the data gap was automatically recognised; a user followed this procedure: Reopen a closed data gap). By clicking on the Filter logo, the source will be added to the filter. •Target: Device that is concerned by the Data gap Event. If there is no Device, then the Measuring point will be shown. By clicking on the Filter logo, the Target will be added to the filter. By clicking on the Device/Measuring point, the user will be forwarded to the Device/Measuring point under Tools>Setup. •Layout: The Layout where the Device/Measuring point is located. By clicking on the Group, the user will be forwarded to the Layout. •Details: The date and time of the Data gap. Example: 24-Feb-2025 08:08:56 - 24-Feb-2025 08:11:10: this means that the last data was collected on the 24th of February at 08:11:10. The data missing starts at 08:08:56.

1.Click on Filters. 2.Select the Joint group. 3.Add Data gap under the Event filter. |

1.Click on the top Data gap Event. 2.Push on the Shift button. 3.Click on the last Data gap Event. ![]() |

1.Click on Options. 2.Click on Try again. ![]() |

1.All Data gap Events that were selected will be updated with a black confirmed tick. 2.Each single Data gap Event will be updated with a confirmation that includes, the time and date that the Try again button was pushed, the user number and name of the person who triggered the Try again command. ![]() |
Option 1 |
The missing data can be downloaded from the data logger. In this case, the Data gap Event will automatically close and will disappear from the pending reminders. |
Option 2 |
The missing data cannot be downloaded from the data logger. The Data gap Event will be updated with either "Timeout" or "No data" and will remain pending. 1.Timeout: Repeat the process from Step 1 (For wireless data loggers, please ensure that the data logger is located next to the gateway, with an uninterrupted line of sight) or download the data directly via the RMS-CONFIG Software. Please see this chapter for more details about the wireless loggers: Download data from Wireless devices. 2.No data: This means that the data is not available on the data logger: a.Ensure that the device has power and that there are no Measuring time not valid and Timeout Events in the audit trail. b.Check the memory to ensure that the data has not been overwritten: https://service.rotronic.com/forum/forum/hardware/1111-logger-memory-overview. |
