License Expiry Process

The license expiry process is the following:

 

1 month prior to the end of the license date:

The message “The license will expire in xx days” will be shown in the browser when logged into RMS.

10 days before expiry:

An E-Mail containing the account serial number, company name and admin login data is sent to the admin of the account.

The same E-Mail is sent to rms@rotronic.ch. This E-Mail is forwarded to the local representative from the Rotronic support team.

Upon expiry:

An E-Mail is sent to the admin of the account and to rms@rotronic.ch.

Within the browser, when logged into RMS, a popup “License expired, please contact rms@rotronic.ch” will appear. The user has the possibility to add a comment and the user can then click on OK. Once OK clicked, the event will be documented in the audit trail.

After expiry:

Within the browser, when logged into RMS “Warning! Your license has expired, the system is now in read only mode”.

10 days after expiry:

No new measurement values are sent to the cloud.

An E-Mail will be sent to the admin of the account and to rms@rotronic.ch.

3 months after expiry:

The account will be disabled.

An E-Mail will be sent to the admin of the account and to rms@rotronic.ch.

>3 months after expiry:

Rotronic can manually delete the company if the license has expired for over 3 months.
