Adjust

All Rotronic RMS input modules (RMS-LOG, RMS-ADC, RMS-MLOG, RMS-MADC) can be adjusted. In addition to this, Rotronic devices in the HC2 generation that are connected via the RMS-Converter can also be adjusted.

 

The navigation list contains all measuring points with adjustment function. With the filter function it is possible to search by the ID, name or parameter of the measuring point.

Information

Description

Last refresh

Time that has passed since the last reading out of the adjustment information. The adjustment information is refreshed by clicking "Refresh now".

Factory default

Date and reference value(s) of the factory adjustment.

User adjustment

Date and reference value(s) of the last user adjustment.

Acquired values

The calibration values stored in the device or probe (nominal value, actual value and difference). Individual stored values can also be deleted.

Measurement

Selection of a measuring point in the system as reference or manual entry of the reference value.

 

The following functions are available for acquiring the calibration values and adjusting the measuring point1. In order to adjust a measurement point, a reference value can be added:

oManual input.

oBy selecting another device that is located in the RMS system.

 

Function

Description

Acquire

Saves the current measured and reference value in the probe

Adjust

Adjusts the probe on the basis of the stored nominal and actual values

Acquire + adjust

Acquires the reference value and adjusts the measuring point immediately with it

Delete user adjustment

Resets the probe on the factory default

1 IMPORTANT: In the case of wireless data loggers, it is only possible to write to or read from the device during the measurement interval. This means that it can take up to the set interval before the data are sent to or read from the device.
