Does RMS use a WIFI system that had already tested by any other 3rd party?

Today the RMS is not a WIFI based solution but a wireless solution. RMS offers industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio bands: to date (03.01.2017) only 868MHz and 915MHz. Currently the RMS does not offer a WIFI based solution.
