Question:
My gateway's (RMS-GW-868/915) are not refreshing every 30s as required, but take up to 4 minutes.
Possible Root Cause:
Network settings.: Active/Passive Cisco ASA configuration.
Solution:
The RMS-GW's send data through a web service to https://rms.rotronic.com/rms on port 80.
The web service sub page is http://rms.rotronic.com/wService/wSe...iceService.svc. Note that the web service does not use an encrypted connection.

Possible Root Cause:
Network settings.: Active/Passive Cisco ASA configuration.
Solution:
- Due to a network outage around, it looks like the ASA's were 'split-brained', where they were both acting as the Active ASA and flapping the network between the two of them.
- The ASA’s manage the traffic and so the gateways were essentially confused as to which internet connection to use.
