    Question:
    I have deleted a logger from RMS and I want to add another one in its place. RMS tells me that the address is no available.

    Possible Root Cause:
    1. The data may still be in the SQL database.
    2. If the log interval is smaller than 60s, then various addresses other than the one desired may be used. For example, with a 10s interval and a logger with the address 4, the logger will communicate at the 4, 14, 24, 34, 44, 54 seconds of the minute. If any of these addresses are taken, then RMS won't allow for the logger to be added.
    Solution:
    1. Ensure that there are no issues in the wireless settings (network ID, channel and address) if the log interval is smaller than 60 seconds.
    2. Do a wPage recycle.
    3. Check the RMS SQL database for the device that was deleted. Ensure that the wireless settings (network ID, channel and address) are correct if the log interval is smaller than 60 seconds.
    Additional Information:
    All device settings are stored within the SQL database.
