Question:
I have removed the batteries from my data logger. When I add them, I get measurement values during the time that the batteries were not in the logger.

When the battery is placed into the logger, the logger carry's on running using the last time stamp before the battery was removed.
The logger time is synchronised with the server time over the gateway.
