  • Unable to start RMS-loggers after device timeout

    Hi,
I noticed yesterday that two of our RMS-loggers haven't been working since mid June due to "Device Timeout". I have read the manual about this but I can't get them up and running again. I removed the back shell and noticed that the small green power cable plug was unplugged on both of them. So I guess they have run on battery a long time before they in June ran out of power. I have changed the batteries to new FANSO batteries according to the manual. It is two loggers with art no. RMS-LOG-868. It is not the gateway because we have several loggers that are connected to the same gateway and by replacing the two malfunctioning ones with two others they work so it can't be any disturbance in the signals from that position.

    Regards,
    Jonas

      Hi Jonas,

Please review the timeout explanations here: https://service.rotronic.com/manual/...soverview.html.

If you do reach out to rms@rotronic.ch, we will require the audit trail in .csv format for a better understanding of the situation.

      Regards,
      James
