How does the automatic read out function of RMS work?
Solution:
When data is not downloaded directly, the RMS system will generate a read out data event. This event will remain bold in the audit trail until the data is read out or a period of 3 days pass. If the data was not downloaded, then a data gap event will occur in the audit trail. At this point, the user must click on the try again button to download the data. For LAN devices, the data can be downloaded within a few measurement intervals. For Wireless devices, it may take more time depending on the number of values that require downloading.
