RMS devices can be searched by Wi-Fi, LAN, USB/Uart, via RF-USB dongle and via QR Code scanning

After pressing the Wi-Fi button on the backside of the RMS-LOG-W-x, click on Scan Wi-Fi and all RMS-LOG-W-x available appear in the list.
The user can scan for Wi-Fi logger available within the Wi-Fi range. The RMS-app on Windows and Android scans for Wi-Fi logger that are in access point mode (AP-mode; the Wi-Fi symbol is blinking on the logger display). And it scans for Wi-Fi logger already added to the Wi-Fi network of the PC or the mobile phone.
The scan function on a iOS mobile phone does not allow a general scan for available logger. To scan, find and add a Wi-Fi logger, the user must add an IP address or the serial number of the Wi-Fi logger.
If no Wi-Fi device is found, also the LAN devices are displayed.

Communicate with the Wi-Fi logger
To start a communication to the device for measurement, configuration etc. The user must activate the communication by a click on the switch.
The listed devices can be configured in his network configuration and/or added to the RMS-App.

If the customer wants to communiate directly with a digital probe, the search by USB should be used.

The Wi-Fi logger can be searched and added to the device tree on the left.
It can be added by QR-Code scan or by a Wifi-Scan

To add MLOGx or RMS-LOG-868/915, the customer must use a USB-dongle.

By clicking the Pair RF device button, the customer must press the device button of the RF logger.

After successful communication, the RF device will be added to the device tree of the RMS App.

To use the RMS-App for configuration, measurement etc., the customer must click on the device on the device tree. Then the software functions are available.
By clicking on Search Device, another device can be searched and added.

Please note, that the RMS-App communicates only to one device at the same time, even when various devices are added to the device tree.
