Follow the steps to install the V2.9.0 of the RMS software.

•Installation via Remote Desktop Connection

•Download SQL Server Express

•Installation and Configuration of the SQL Server Express Using Mixed Authentication Mode

•Installation and Configuration of the SQL Server Express Using Windows Authentication Mode

•Download and Install SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

•Installing the IIS Webserver

•Download the RMS Software V2.9.0 on C:

•Download the RMS Software V2.9.0 on a Specific Path

Important: please be aware that Rotronic cannot write instruction manuals for all RMS versions. The differences between the different MS Windows Servers and MS SQL Servers are not completely different and should correspond to the ones documented here.

 

Important: please select between using mixed authentication mode and windows authentication mode. Once selected, only carry out the steps of the mode selected. When using the windows authentication, please use the following chapters:

1.Installation and Configuration of the SQL Server Express Using Windows Authentication Mode

2.Creation of a New Database Using Windows Authentication Mode

3.Installation of the RMS Software V2.9.0 not on C: with Windows Authentication Mode

4.Services and IIS Configuration for Windows Authentication Mode

 

Important: please select between installing the RMS application on C: or another path. Once selected, only carry out the steps of the place where RMS is installed. When not on C:, please use the following chapters:

1.Download the RMS Software V2.9.0 on C:

2.IIS and Permission Configuration not on C:
