This option is valid for any company wishing to calibrate an RMS LAN logger.
Important: The LAN logger needs to be deactivated within the RMS software.
Calibration is only possible with the RMS-LOG-T30-L, as the digital probes are not seen within via the RMS-LOG-L device. For all other LAN devices please see the Calibration Option 1.
The RMS-ADC-L-R cannot be calibrated within RMS.CONFIG, only the scaling can be made. |
Requires:
1 * RMS LAN logger
1 * RMS-Config software.
Step 1 |
Place the LAN logger in the calibration environment. Ensure that the logger is connected to the LAN network. Open the RMS-CONFIG software. |
Step 2 |
Open the RMS-CONFIG software. Click on "Device" > "Search" > "Network devices", the list of network devices will appear:

Step 3 |
Select the required device and click on "Add":

Click on the Adjust tab:

Select the required input:
|
Step 6 |
Follow the internal calibration procedures.
Enter the reference value shown on the reference and click on acquire: |
Step 7 |
The acquired points will be added to acquired points: |
Step 8 |
Carry out all of the necessary calibration points. |
Important: This is only a calibration and not an adjustment. |
Adjust: Click on adjust to adjust the probe. Why Adjust?
Delete point: Delete an acquired point if required.
Delete all points: Delete all points if required.
Restore factory adjust: Restore the factory adjustment if required.
