how does the converter program the NT devices?

The RMS-CONVERTER-100 will overwrite the HL-NT and HygroLog NT settings when the device is setup in RMS.

Please see the step 5 with the overview of all settings that are overwritten: https://service.rotronic.com/manual/hl-nt-data-logger.html.
