Question:
When I use the validation script with the device timeout function, my device is not going offline.

Possible Root Cause:

1. The timeout and the log interval need to be taken into account. If the timeout is 240 seconds and the log interval 60 seconds, then the timeout needs to be entered for 300 seconds minimum in order for the timeout error to appear.

Solution:

1. Add the timeout value and the log interval together.
