The HC2A-AW and HC2A-AW-USB is a digital humidity-temperature probe based on the AirChip 3000 technology.
HC2A-AW
The HC2A-AW is a water activity measurement head, which comes with UART (HC2-) connector and 1m cable.
It can be used with the HYGROLAB or in combination with an AC3001 cable also with the PC with HygroSoft software installed.
The HC2A-AW probe is directly powered from the HygroLab or by theUSB port of a PC (when using it with the AC3001 cable).
When connected to the HygroLab, the probe can be powered or unpowered by pressing on the touch button ON / OFF located on top of
the probe. The green LED ring is lit when the probe is powered.
HC2A-AW-USB
The HC2A-AW-USB is a water activity measurement head, which comes with USB connector and 3m cable.
It can be only used with the PC and the HygroSoft. It's not compatible with the HygroLab.
Note: Please make sure that the USB driver is installed, see here: Driver Installation.
The HC2A-AW-USB probe is directly powered from the USB port of a PC. When connected to a
USB port, the probe can be powered or unpowered by pressing on the touch button ON / OFF located on top of
the probe. The green LED ring is lit when the probe is powered.
Sample holder and disposable sample cups

The PS-14 cups (shallow) are suitable for calibrating the probe with the Rotronic certified
humidity standards or with saturated salt solutions. In general, use the shallow cups for a
liquid, a paste or a powder. Use the PS-40 (deep) sample cups for products in bulk (large
chunks).
