The AwEasy device is designed to provide efficient battery usage, typically lasting 1-2 weeks before requiring a recharge. However, the actual battery life depends on several factors, including the frequency of use, the number of measurements taken, and the configured display duration settings. To maximize battery performance, AwEasy is equipped with power-saving features, such as a motion sensor and display standby mode, which help extend operational time.
The AwEasy features an LED ring that provides clear visual feedback on the device’s charging status:
•Charging in Progress: While the device is charging, the LED ring will blink orange. This also indicates that the battery is generating heat during the charging process.
•Fully Charged: Once the battery is fully charged, the LED ring will blink green. At this point, the AwEasy stops charging the battery, preventing further heat generation.
This charging behavior ensures that the battery is efficiently charged while minimizing any impact from heat, maintaining optimal performance for water activity measurements.
AwEasy comes with a wireless charging system for convenient recharging. To ensure optimal performance and minimize interference with water activity measurements caused by heat generated during charging, follow these recommendations:
•Evening Charging: It is best to charge the device at night. This ensures that the AwEasy is fully charged and cool by morning, ready for use.
•Avoid Immediate Use After Charging: If the device is charged during the day, allow 1-2 hours for it to cool down before performing measurements. This prevents potential inaccuracies due to residual heat from the charging process.
By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure reliable measurements and prolong the battery life of your AwEasy device.
After an app update that installs a new firmware version on the AwEasy device, you might notice that the battery icon on the AwEasy display starts blinking. This blinking indicates that the battery capacity needs to be recalibrated.
To recalibrate the battery:
1.Fully Charge the Device: Place the AwEasy on the wireless charger and charge it until the LED ring on the device starts blinking green.
2.Ensure a Complete Charge Cycle: Allow the device to remain on the charger until the green blinking indicates a full charge. This process recalibrates the battery indicator to reflect the actual battery capacity.
Following this step ensures accurate battery status readings and optimal performance after a firmware update.
