The RMS Gateway does not use SIM cards

How does the Gateway communicate with the database?

The Gateway is connected to the LAN. The LAN should then be connected to the database.

oIf no LAN available, then no data can be communicated to the database.

oIf there is WiFi, then the gateway can be linked up to a standard WiFi router via an Ethernet cable. The data can then be forwarded over WiFi to the LAN.

oIf no LAN or WiFi is available, then communication is not possible.
