RMS installation on 2 servers.
The database is installed one one server and the RMS software was installed on the second server.
Please check that the SQL Server Management Studio is installed on the RMS software server side.
After installation and running the connection tests, the following error occurred:
Issue is that the “Anonymous Authentication” was disabled with the web sites in IIS.
To resolve this:
Within IIS Manager, go to Default Web Site properties
-Right click on the Authentication icon under IIS.
-Open Feature
-Under “Anonymous Authenticaion” Status will read Diabled– Enable this feature
Then:
Within IIS Manager, go to w/Service
-Right click on the Authentication icon under IIS.
-Open Feature
-Under “Anonymous Authenticaion” Status will read Diabled– Enable this feature
Restart Default Web Site and test connection strings again.
