Solution:

Check the LED of the device:

oAfter pressing the button, the red LED should flash 5 x fast (10 x on 915 MHz).

If the LED flashes green, orange or red 1..3 times:

oUnpair the device by pressing the button for 8s

oThe red LED flashes 3 x slow

oTry again to pair by pressing the button once (short press, like mouse click)
