The RMS software license is limited based upon the number of DEV/MPT's. In order to calculate the number of DEV/MPT's that are required, please use the following overview:

•When a device is added to an RMS system, this creates a DEV. This DEV is counted towards the limit.

oExample: RMS-GW, RMS-CONVERTER-100...

•Should a measurement device with one channel be added to an RMS system, this creates a DEV and the corresponding MPT. This MPT is counted towards the limit, but the DEV is not.

oExample: RMS-MLOG-T/T10, RMS-MADC, RMS-LOG and RMS-TCD, RMS-LOG and PCD...

•Should a measurement device with multiple channels be added to an RMS system, this creates a DEV and the corresponding MPT's. These MPT's are counted towards the limit, but the DEV is not.

oExample: RMS-MLOG-B, RMS-ADC, RMS-LOG and RMS-HCD, RMS-LOG-T30...
