If I have a virus on my PC, Smart Phone or Pad, can this endanger the RMS data stored on the database?

 

If the infected computers, Smart Phone or Pad has direct access to the server, then it can potentially infect the server. However with a server antivirus, it is possible to block access from infected computers on the network. It means, if an infected/ suspicious file tries to be saved on the server from a specified computer of the network, then the antivirus gives the computer the infected status and does not allow access to the server for the set period of time.

 

 

When working with the web based software, you do not access the database directly. Unless you have otherwise access to the database, then no viruses can be transferred to the database.
