Receive a call when an alarm is triggered
I'd like to be notified by phone when an alarm is triggered. How do I configure this to receive a call?
Step 1: Order the RMS-WEB/CLD-XDA.
Step 2: Rotronic or your sales partner will send you over the following details that need to be added to the system settings:
- User account ID
- User account token
- SMS number
- Telephone number
- Callback server
Step 3: Setup the receiving persons telephone number under user settings.
Step 4: Setup the notifications to send out telephone calls or SMS's.
Based upon the notification settings the telephone call or SMS will be triggered.
IMPORTANT: No additional hardware is required for this telephone/SMS alarm, the alarming is done via API, please see the RMS architecture:
