Logging from HF520-EX
A key customer in the UK requires 2 off HF520-EX ATEX transmitters and probes together with a logger. They cannot use RMS, no access to the LAN (sensitive site). We have suggested HL-NT2-D logger with a HL-DS-U2-420 docking station for interface with a PC running HW4 software. They are happy to obtain these but need budget approval which can take months to obtain. The docking station will be end of life from 1 July so we will have a problem if they cannot order them earlier. Is there any other solution please? We have looked at the Rotronic AC3010 RS-8485 / USB converter but this is going the 'wrong way'. Any other product / adapter suggestions? We need to be able to offer our customer an alternative should we not receive their purchase order until the summer. We are aware we can offer a separate manufacturers data acquisition system, but they want to keep with Rotronic products.
Dear Chris,
We recommend you to purchase the docking station HL-NT2-D and HL-DS-U2-420 before 1 July 2019 and have it on your stock Ready for your customer.
Otherwise you can recommend them the docking station HL-DS-NT3/4 and HL-DS-U4-420, which will be EOL by the end of december 2021. (Edit: logger -> Docking station / 2019 ->2021)

The problem has been solved after many years. What if persistence in learning would yield certain successes even if you were playing a game of Poor Bunny?
