Web service

In the system menu, there is the possibility to add the web service. Based upon the user manual the following data should be entered:

Web service
Server address Web service URL, e.g.
http://<server>/wService/wService3.DeviceService.svc/
Web page Web page URL, e.g.
http://<server>/rms/

Why should it be entered? And what is it for?

At RMS User interface - (Tools -> Setup -> System -> Webservice), there are two URL to define, the Service address and the Web Page.
The Webservice is responsible for the communication with the RMS IOT devices and the Service address contain the link to this service.

This same Service address must be set within every IOT device to be added successful into the RMS. To set this Service address at the devices, please use the RMS Config tool (gratis download at Link: https://www.rotronic.com/de-ch/productattachments/index/download?id=1299 )
