Validation Function: RMS-WEB-P V1.3.1 and HL-NT3
I am using the MS-WEB-P V1.3.1 and HL-NT3 Datalogger with Ethernet Docking Station and I need the validation function to test my alarms and E-Mails.
The first step within the validation is to send a simulator value. The step never works: why?
It always says error...

Humidity and Temperature of the HL-NT can be set as fixed value. But you must use the HW4 software to configure the HL-NT with probes connected.
Disable the HL-NT at the RMS, open HW4, add the HL-NT to HW4 and configure the probe by setting the wished fix values.
Turn off the HW4 and enable the HL-NT within the RMS. Than the measured values appear as "Simulator" - please see Manual of the RMS Converter ( link: https://www.rotronic.com/de-ch/productattachments/index/download?id=1358 ) page 98.
Why? - The HL-NT is a Rotronic device of the first generation and not an IOT Device with RMS standards. Not every RMS functionality is supported by the HL-NT. Please see pages 94ff of the same manual.
