According to the supplier of the wheel, there is no need to use any lubricant. If it does not turn proper, try to move it mechanically. If it does not work return it to Rotronic.

Thanks very much for the information. Do you have a suggested cleaning method? What kind of lubricant would you recommend? Should the anemometer be re-calibrated after the cleaning and lubrication?

AFP1 low air flow measurement problems.

    Hello,

I have a customer who has been using the AFP1 for just over 1 year and has started to experience some problems when measuring air velocity below 3 m/s, they sent me the question below.

"...the device developed some issue for measuring low air velocity. The vane start moving only when air velocity is above 3 m/s. Are you familiar with this problem? Is there anything I can do here (i.e. clean, lube, etc)? Or should I send it to you?..."

What is the best advice to give?
Working...
