When does a wireless logger switch to another gateway?
Possible Root Cause:
- In the software V1.3.1, the allocate gateway occurs when the current gateway didn't receive any values.
- In the software V1.3.1, the allocate gateway occurs when the RSSI difference is too big.
- Update to the software V2.1.0. Please see the RMS-2533 input in the change control. In the Software V2.1 the average of the last 5 RSSI values are taken before reallocating the gateway. If one value is missing the average RSSI value will be reduced by 10. The gateway is switched if the difference is >=15dBm (or 10dBm if the RSSI >=-90dBm).
The event in the audit trail is allocate gateway.
