When replacing the RMS-MLOG batteries, RMS can show a low battery warning.
1) Ensure that you are using an RMS-BAT: https://www.rotronic.com/en-ch/rms-b...a-loggers.html.
2) Ensure that the battery is new.
If the reminder is still active in RMS, then turn battery a few times, the friction should remove possible resistive layers on the contacts.
Wait for 5 measurement intervals.
If the reminder is still active in RMS, then remove the battery.
1) Ensure that the battery holders are not bent. If the battery holders are not bent inwards, bend them inwards.
2) Clean the battery contacts with extra fine sand paper and clean with alcohol.
Replace the battery.
The low battery reminder in RMS should disappear within 5 measurement intervals.
IMPORTANT: When working at lower temperatures, the low battery reminder will be triggered earlier than when working at 23°C.
